St. James School institutes awards

The Headmaster of the St. James Primary School at the Christ the King Cathedral, Sunyani, Mr. Andrew Kyeremeh, recently instituted an awards scheme in the School to motivate the pupils to learn hard and excel in their studies.
According to Mr. Kyeremeh, the Awards, named after Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese, would make the School the centre of excellence in the Diocese as it would encourage pupils to develop the zeal to study hard.
He noted that the awards comprising exercise books and pens, would be presented to deserving pupils who would excel in mid-term and end of term examinations.
Meanwhile, the School came first in the Circuit ‘A’ quiz competition at Sunyani and was also adjudged the well-behaved school in the Circuit.
